Due to its well planned advertising system, Facebook has evolved into the world’s greatest social network. If you desire to use this advertising method, then you must remember the things that we talk about in this article.

It’s a long proven fact that split testing ads for maximum conversions is the smartest thing you can do. Facebook ads are not the same as PPC ads in which the ad is only served up once per search query, and then when the surfer leaves the SERPS page the ads are usually never seen again. We’re not talking about the situation where a user will only see an ad one time, never to be seen again. At Facebook, your audience that is your target market may see the same ad many times over the course of a week, maybe up to several dozen times. Now, that may sound nice to you, but keep in mind that also means your ad has a shelf life; think about boring, stale, old, no attention paid to it.

Yes, it is true that when people see the same thing, ad copy and ad headline, over and over again it can sometimes feel old and tired. The easy solution is to make multiple ads each and every week. It’s cool because Facebook ad groups are allowed 10 or more ads in them. If you want them to appear different, then just change the headline for each ad – up to you. We suggest different headlines for some and not for others, and those with the same headline you can change something else.

Naturally, ad copy plays a huge role with any advertisement, and that is one thing you must test. No kidding, ad copy that works is what usually wins the day. Make your ads distinguishing from the other ads in your market. The best approach here is to study classified ads, or take a short course in copy for classified ads. Give people directions for what you want them to do.

The thing about copywritiing, and that’s all this is, is that it is critical to have a call to action whereby you are directly commanding, sort of, people to take an action. Last but not the least; use words that are in reference to the demographic you’re targeting. If you can write ads that convert for a newspaper, then you can write ads that convert at Facebook because the principles are the same. The more effort you put into the copy, the higher response you will get.

Then there are what’s called engagement ads for the homepage. However this strategy is only for those who have that kind of budget available. You can use this space to show your videos, start and conduct polls or get prospects to take some kind of action. These ads cost a lot, and probably the businesses and people with the means to do them will already have heard about them.

In conclusion, Facebook is evolving just like other marketing systems. But the one good point is that it hasn’t gotten old yet, so it still has opportunity to grow.
