twittersearchRecently many have been referring to twitter as a search engine. While twitter can indeed be searched, I’m really not so sure that it’s a search engine. In any case, it certainly is not a search engine of the traditional sort ;o). Today’s subject is twitter search engines, yes, engines that search twitter, of which, twitter is one, ever since it acquired Summize (Anyone else feel that thump in your head? With talk like that it’s no wonder old folks can get so cranky and wave us off when we whippersnappers start talking about computers). Well it seems as though that was a perfect fit. The fact of the matter is, not too far from the dubbed founding premise of twitter as a micro blogging platform, if you are looking for micro rants or reviews about absolutely anything and everything, yes even in real time, twitter is the place to search. How Can I Tell if A Market is Worth Getting Into?

All too often I hear horror stories about how after many months of costly product research and creation, an eager entrepreneur sets up shop, spends another yacht load of cash SEOing the web site then, a dingy load of cash for an expert copywriter, only to find when launch day arrives, no one will buy the product. At which point our unwitting entrepreneur is pretty much sunk, pure and simple. The worst part of all, in that situation, the person frequently has no idea why they have failed. The facts of the matter are, our captain of modern industry wound up pitching a tent in Antarctica and ended up adrift on an iceberg headed for the equator!
