How To Link Your twitter Account To Your facebook Account

So you’ve seen many tweets on facebook and wonder how you can have twitter send your tweets to the facebook status update area so it can populate your wall automatically? Well not only that easy to do but you can even send tweets to twitter from facebook if you want. That’s right is works both ways. Tweeting to facebook is not new except that facebook does have new look so the process of adding that capability to your facebook account while essentially the same, has changed in its look and feel. For that reason I though I’d chart out the process for you as a visual road map.

I’ve listed the steps below, each step is pictured;

• Search for ‘twitter’ on the top right of your facebook page
• Select the applications tab and click on twitters ‘View Application’ link
• On the twitter application page click on the ‘Go To Application’ button
• In the Allow Access window click on the ‘Allow Access’ button
• Fill in your twitter credentials and click on the ‘Log in’ button
• Click on the ‘Allow Twitter To Update Your Facebook Status’ button
• Click on the ‘Allow Status Updates’ button
• Click on the ‘Bookmark Twitter’ button in case you want to find that screen again
• Now your twitter updates will be listed on facebook

Once you have bookmarked the twitter application on facebook’s bookmarks, you can then return to that screen and send updates to twitter if you like.
Now that your twitter and facebook are fully integrated, you are ready to reach audiences on both platforms at once.
