Essentially, being an affiliate means you are selling someone else’s products for them. Affiliate sales are very popular and can be highly lucrative to sell. With affiliate sales all you are really doing is promoting someone else’s product. You can simply send out an email to your list telling them why the product is good and why they would want to buy the product. You will need to make sure the product you are promoting has a high margin, because PPC simply means you are buying traffic. Also, the nice thing about affiliate sales is that there are usually few customer service issues to deal with and are really the fastest way to start earning online.

The subject matter is very diverse as well. You can sell anything from physical fitness, to real estate to lottery programs. If you are having a hard time narrowing down to one niche, PayDotCom.com products will allow you to try as many as you like until you see where you are best suited to sell. Other sites like Clickbank and Commission Junction or ClixGalore works in much the same way. There is no better way to boost sales of your product than having you own personal internet savvy sales team. Most Offer special tools such as ad and site builders to help you along.

On a side note, you can use affilite programs for such activites as arbitrage which isdefined as the simultaneous purchase and sale of the same securities, commodities, or foreign exchange in different markets to profit from unequal prices. Arbitrage is not nearly as scary as it sounds, especially where the internet is concerned. Arbitrage can take many forms from auction to pay per click and really is nothing more than buying low and selling high. It will be explained more later in the series.
