Blogging in essence is just a way for you to express yourself or your opinions and with any amount of luck, your blog can make you money with advertising as well. You can create and host your own blog with WordPress then place AdSense or other content network ads on your site and, if your site is drawing enough traffic and attention, you could also charge for ad space on your blog too. Don’t under estimate the power of the blog. Google loves blogs, together they can generate traffic to a product or money site. Blogging can also help to generate some very good publicity for you and your product. You can also opt to have your blog hosted for you at one of the many free blog hosts available including worpress.com and blogger.com.

Blogging with video or Vlogging is accomplished by recording the video with a normal video camera or the web cam on your computer. You then publish the video on your blog or one of the many social media video sharing sites. Primarily used as a way to drive traffic and loyalty, money is made with advertising. Ads can be delivered via sidebars or directly on the video itself. Ad space is charged by the block size, impressions and duration. Whether you are blogging with text or video or both, blogs can make over $100,000 monthly. Some can make $1,000,000 a month or more.
