Everyone’s favorite social media and micro blog notifier application has now added 3 new heavy hitters with their API. Ping.fm, has been my personal favorite notifier since they were gracious enough to send me a beta invitation to use their service. I was using Hello prior and was just blow away with the ease of use and services integration available with Ping.fm which currently offers text and image transfers with video to come soon. Now with the addition of these new services, your messaging reach will be unparalleled in all history.
With Skype, Nofity.me and Hootsuite joining the list, there are now more than 45 ways to ping your world. Click the image below to view the Ping.fm desktop interface.
Ping.fm is such an incredibly powerful application I have to wonder if not a sigh of the apocalypse! Seriously though, has anyone’s reach ever been so long or so strong? Perhaps if you were a billi0onaire buying up network and cable tv ad time, then well, you could probably out do the power of this simple free little program, this really is that amazing! When video is added, look out world, the media distribution capabilities could be so completely unparalleled, the traditional media industry could find it self at an ever greater decline in viewership and advertising revenue, especially when these types of services go from marketer to mainstream.
