Did you know that Google may begin to incorporate site load times into landing page quality scores? Naturally we all know that when ever Google does anything for the common good (G’s bottom line) that YUP you guessed it, it’s the End oF tHe World!
Dan Thies has a nice little write up about it over at the SEO Fast Start portal. Here’s what I had to say about the subject;
Well I don’t know what to say guys, obviously this is an important issue that deserves serious thought but, since I’m sure that when Google throws that switch the earth will end in a brilliant supernova like flash, I guess I will just stick my head in the sand and wait for someone to kick me in the you know what before I look at my load times.
