How To Rise In The SERPs

Before we proceed I think I may need to define the acronym SERPs. What SERPs stands for is Search Engine Result Page or, similarly, Search Engine Results Placement. Essentially, what the data is that is returned from a Google (or other) query.

Google is a tool that runs on an engine. That engine, like the one that runs your car, requires very specific things to get you where you want to go. While the exact substance may vary somewhat, those things are absolute. In order to get where you are going, your car must have fuel . The fuel may vary in octane or be derived from different processes but, with out the fuel you get nothing you go nowhere.

The fuel for your search engines is what drives the results that will get you were you want to go on the internet. That fuel is very specific and, like the fuel that drives your car, will vary in substance and be derived from differing sources but, that fuel is required and, in that manner, can be controlled. The measure of that level of control is based on a very short list of criterion that we will begin to explore in the next installment.
