I am also facing this type of problem since long time. When i play video in youtube it will give me a error like "- we’re sorry, this video is no longer available" so i think that the owner of the video delete that video from youtube but by turning of Google Web Accelerator it works fine in my browser. Thanks for sharing.

I've got an EeePC 1000H that I normally dual boot into Easy Peasy (yuk, what a name!) Ubuntu based Linux and I've been suffering from You Tube not functioning with the “We’re sorry, this video is no longer available” error message. I was using FF3 and Flash 10 and I was tearing what's left of my hair out trying everything I could to sort the problem. In a moment of despair I downgraded Flash 10 to Flash 9, rebooted, and lo and behold You Tube now works!

Of course, this means I can't make use of any 'enhancements' introduced by Flash 10 unless there's some way of making it more compatible with the other software that it is apparently clashing with when running You Tube videos

I agree with Constance. I have identified the parental controls as the problem even though I have allowed YouTube through Parental Controls. The problem started when I installed Google Chrome for testing (and subsequentely uninstalled it). I have had to disable parental controls for YouTube to function. Various configurations of the parental controls make no difference.

Same problem here for about a week now. YouTube videos fail on all computers and all browsers (IE7, FireFox, and Chrome). Tried all the above "fixes." Glad it works for you but sorry, no joy here.

I now think it's some kind of filter or “accelerator” put in our path by our ISP, perhaps a malfunctioning caching proxy server. I suggest using one of the many proxies out there

don't know if Google Gears is the same as Google Accelerator, but on my PC (Ubuntu with FF3) disabling Gears solved the issue.

I wasn't even able to watch videos on youtube's own site.

If you are ademant about not using a really great new web browser then you could try to download the latest version of Flash and rebooting your network router etc. too, that might help. Also make sure that none of your systems are spamming your network by running a free online virus scan from places like pandasoftware.com.

===>It works !

I'm having the same problem. Yesterday, I went to youtube to watch when suddenly, it won't let me watch. It says, the videos are not available anymore. I can't even watch my own videos! Please help. I unstalled Flash and then reinstalled it. Still nothing. Then I saw this, I installed Flock...and still nothing. Please help me.

We have a network consisting of about 300 machines. None of these machines can view youtube videos, and we would like to be able to. Youtube is not blocked by our firewall, or filtering software. We get the "We're sorry, this video is no longer available" message. We have no google web accelerator, and flock receives the same thing.
